Federated search
NB. This article is only applicable to federated Betula servers.
In addition to local search, you can search other Betula servers without leaving yours. This federated search is available for mutuals only. Mutuals are betulists who follow each other.
To perform a federated search, first perform a regular local search, and then press Search mutuals instead. Alternatively, visit the Federated search page and enter your query there.
This is true federated search, i.e. requests are sent to remote servers rather than searched in local cache. No other Fediverse server has a system like this.
Use the same search syntax as in local search.
